Ο Billy Porter έχει τον τρόπο του να κερδίζει τις εντυπώσεις σε κάθε εμφάνιση του στο κόκκινο χαλί. Ο ηθοποιός που είχε εμφανιστεί με μαύρη τουαλέτα στα Όσκαρ, αποφάσισε να κλέψει τις εντυπώσεις και στο red carpet του Met Gala.

Ο μεγάλος star του Broadway μεταφέρθηκε στα σκαλιά του Metropolitan Museum από έξι άντρες χωρίς μπλούζα που φορούσαν χρυσό παντελόνι. Μας θύμισε Αρχαία Αίγυπτο, με τον ίδιο να φορά μια ολόχρυση στολή του θεού Ήλιου συνδυασμένη με κορώνα 24 καρατίων και φτερά 3 μέτρων. Mάλιστα,φόρεσε και μπότες Atlanta με χρυσό glitter σχεδιασμένες από τον Giuseppe Zanotti.
